Tobias Haas
is a remarkable professional and a phenomenal musician with amazing drumming skills. His achievements in the entertainment industry have made him a pacesetter with significant contributions. His background as a musician and drummer coupled with his expertise has enabled him work with reputable artists, maintaining first-to-offer drum recordings for studios or musicians in all genres of music worldwide.
A Germany native, Tobias’ journey in the music industry started when he was only four, playing drums. At 7 years old, Tobias was already in a marching band and had his first drumming teacher at 10 and several others before he was 18. Tobias visited drum school LAMA in Los Angeles and Drummer Focus Munich and thereafter played for a few years with a professional tribute Band. His ability to build and maintain incredible working relationships sets him apart from those around him.
When he was 25, Tobias started playing with his first UK based international artist Anne Clark, a relationship that went on for 5 years. He has also worked with renowned artists like Skyler (Commodores– Grammy Winner- USA), Lars Deutsch (Grammy-winner-USA), Ray Wilson (Genesis – UK), Victoria Theodore (Beyonce/Stevie Wonder – USA), Elliott Randall (USA-Steely Dan), Sylvester Burks (USA), Ronald LaPread (Commodores) USA, Maciej Maleńczuk (Pl), Marianne Rosenberg (D) and the famous Sonique (UK). He is popular for being a consummate professional, with a unique ability to work well with a team and by himself and generating enough adrenaline to complete whatever he does. This attribute has made him a force in the industry.
Motivated to become a global expert in his field, Tobias records drums for artists from different parts of the world, an achievement that merited him for an interview with the Sticksdrum magazine in 2014. Two years later, Tobias featured in the Golden Disc for Jazz with Maciej Malenzuk in a Polish band called Jazz for Idiots.
Tobias has mastered significant people and professional skills that have been instrumental in his success. He uses effective and efficient communication, attention to detail, time management and organization, always bringing his best self to the task with a positive attitude and a smile in order to get things done. He is always on top of his game, striving to be the master of what he does.
Outside music and drumming, Tobias holds a Black Belt in Wing Do and is an able chemist. He also loves spending time with his family and friends. His love for what he does motivates his inspiring other people to achieve their full potential.
